The Michelson 20MM OER Initiative, Creative Commons (CC), and the California Community College’s (CCC) Academic Senate’s Open Educational Resources Initiative (OERI) are having a Creative Commons Certificate Bootcamp at Skyline College in San Bruno, CA, on January 9–13th. By the end of the weeklong program, participating CCC faculty will gain CC-certified open licensing expertise.
The CC Certificate is a rigorous training program designed to help educators, academic librarians, and other learners develop comprehensive knowledge in open education, open access, and open practices. Through the CC Certificate Bootcamp, faculty members will develop an understanding of the types of open licenses available and the value each poses to educators and students. Learn more.
