• 1-hour career session with Jess Johnson (Chief Academy Officer, West Coast Grooming Academy) & Marco Lalau (Grooming Entrepreneur)
• 1-hour employer mingling/career fair 

Parking: Limited parking is available at Common Space Brewery or street parking

Hosted by the Michelson Institute for Pet Professions (MIPP) and Groomers Pro, join them for a free grooming-focused learning session and career fair for new and working pet groomers in Los Angeles! Current students and graduates from West Coast Grooming Academy (WCGA) and the MIPP program in LA are invited to attend, as well as any new groomer,  who can mingle with numerous grooming salons and mobile companies that are growing their workforce.

It’s important for new groomers to find their best fit and know what they should consider to have the best experience, so attendees will have the chance to talk to hirers and receive not only pointers but potential job opportunities. Prior to the career fair, Jess Johnson (West Coast Grooming Academy) and Marco Lalau (Grooming Entrepreneur) will provide insight into landing a first grooming job, interviewing, pay structures, different environments, and more to get you started or change places in this rewarding career.
