On March 24, 2023, Michelson Prizes: Next Generation Grants laureates Dr. Jenna Guthmiller, Dr. Brittany Hartwell, Dr. Noam Auslander, and Dr. Romain Guyon were honored for their disruptive and innovative human immunology research during a Keystone Symposia ePanel.
In this year’s ePanel, honorees presented their research discoveries on the following immunology subjects:
- Mapping preexisting mucosal B cell specificities engaged by potential universal influenza vaccines (Dr. Jenna Guthmiller).
- Engineering albumin-hitchhiking intranasal vaccines with enhanced transmucosal uptake to promote immunity (Dr. Brittany Hartwell).
- Artificial intelligence-based identification of microbes associated immune responses in cancer and immune diseases (Dr. Noam Auslander).
- Demonstration of new single-dose vaccine technology towards a first-in-man clinical application (Dr. Romain Guyon).
The event was introduced by Dr. Gary Michelson, founder and co-chair of Michelson Philanthropies and the Michelson Medical Research Foundation, and Dr. Wayne Koff, president and CEO of the Human Immunome Project.
