Michelson Found Animals is grateful to the Weingart YMCA and the warm-hearted community of Boyle Heights in Los Angeles. Their latest video showcases the incredible Pet Wellness Day event on June 3, 2023. The event was attended by Assemblymember Miguel Santiago and Supervisor Hilda Solis.
Thanks to the remarkable collaboration with rockstar volunteers, dedicated staff, and invaluable partners, the Better Neighbor Project successfully provided hundreds of families and their beloved pets with an array of free services for essential pet food, supplies, microchips, tags, vaccines and grooming services.
Weingart East YMCA has been an exceptional partner of the Better Neighbor Project for numerous years, hosting not only the fourth pet wellness day at their location but also a weekly pantry where the Better Neighbor Project generously offers free pet food every Wednesday at 11 am while supplies last. No appointments are required at the weekly events.
