The Michelson 20MM Foundation, part of the Michelson Philanthropies network, works to widen access to educational opportunities by promoting programs and policies that advance the adoption of open educational resources (OER).
To help achieve this goal, the foundation is launching its latest Michelson Spark Grants funding round. The program, which awards grants of up to $25,000, will support projects that increase the affordability of course materials, improve the efficacy of faculty instruction, and deliver strategies with the potential to inform public policy.
On 14 February 2024, OER Senior Program Manager Cailyn Nagle and Director of Operations and Programs Ryan Erickson-Kulas hosted an informational webinar for potential applicants to this year’s OER Spark Grants program.
Nagle and Erickson-Kulas provided an in-depth overview of the program, highlighted past awardees, and answered questions from attendees.
